The Assistant Director of the Out-of-School (OOS) program serves as the second-in-command of the OOS program and the Director’s primary operational partner in delivering a high-quality after-school and full-day summer program for students in kindergarten through 8th grade. While the Director owns program vision, budget, staffing decisions, partnerships, and regulatory accountability, the Assistant Director owns execution: converting the Director’s program design into daily and weekly plans, supervising and coaching the program team, safeguarding quality and safety on the program floor, and keeping records, data, and compliance documentation review ready.
