About The Position
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) provides support to the Director of Nursing in administrative and overall managerial functions. This includes overseeing care delivery activities and training within the Nursing Department. The role requires professional experience in geriatrics and nursing administration.
Requirements
- RN graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in KY.
- Professional experience in the practice of geriatrics.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills in nursing practice.
Responsibilities
- Provides support to the Director of Nursing in administrative and overall managerial functions.
- Oversees care delivery activities.
- Manages training of the Nursing Department.
- Assists the DON in duties as needed.
