About The Position

The Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) assumes delegated responsibility and accountability for providing resident care in accordance with professional nursing practice standards. In coordination with the Director of Nursing Services, the ADNS develops, communicates, and maintains nursing policies and procedures that reflect current clinical practice, professional standards, and the company and facility philosophy of care, consistent with federal and state laws and corporate policies and procedures.

The role calls for clinical leadership, coaching and mentoring staff, effective communication with staff, residents, and residents’ families, and creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents. The position is at Hickory Creek at Sunset and requires an RN license.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.
• Solid foundation of nursing knowledge and skills, with compliance with company, federal, and state standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and residents’ families.
