Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - RN - Skilled Nursing Facility
About The Position
Generations at Applewood, Matteson, IL, has an Opening for an Assistant Director of Nursing – ADON. This is a Full Time Role with a Salary Starting at $100-110k, depending upon qualifications and experience. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a few years of Skilled Nursing Facility or LTACH management/supervisory experience, not just hospital. Hours are 9a-5p weekdays and must be willing to be in On-Call every other weekend. Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Illinois
- Must have at least three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Must have long-term care experience & knowledge of SNF regulations
- Must have leadership and critical thinking skills
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
Nice To Haves
- ICU or ventilator experience a plus
Responsibilities
- The Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON collaborates with the Director of Nursing – DON (Director of Clinical Services)
- Ensures care plans are implemented and delivered in a timely and efficient manner
- Manages the clinical team, develops programs and provides education to staff
- Plans and evaluates nursing systems, rotations and methods
