About The Position
Generations at Applewood in Matteson, IL is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for a Full-Time role. This position offers a salary starting at $110-115k, depending on qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse (RN) with several years of management or supervisory experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or LTACH, not solely a hospital setting. The working hours are weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm, with an on-call requirement every other weekend. The company is looking for individuals who take pride in providing excellent patient care, seek to expand their professional skills and knowledge in a skilled care environment, and strive for individual professional development.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
- At least three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Long-term care experience & knowledge of SNF regulations
- Leadership and critical thinking skills
- Compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
Nice To Haves
- ICU or ventilator experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Director of Nursing – DON (Director of Clinical Services)
- Ensures care plans are implemented and delivered in a timely and efficient manner
- Manages the clinical team, develops programs and provides education to staff
- Plans and evaluates nursing systems, rotations and methods
