About The Position
Centurion is seeking a part-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join their team at Jefferson City Correctional Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. The ADON will provide clinical, educational, and professional supervision for nursing and support staff. This role operates under the direction of the Director of Nursing and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team within the correctional environment to enhance the healthcare of incarcerated offenders.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid RN license in Missouri.
- Must show current tuberculosis documentation.
- Must show active AED/CPR certification.
- Must be able to pass background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
- Progressive experience in nursing care.
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Baccalaureate Degree preferred
- Experience in a correctional, forensic or criminal justice environment preferred
