About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to work at Deerfield, a facility located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield offers various living options including independent living apartments and patio homes, assisted living, residential care apartment homes, and long-term care/skilled nursing suites. The ADON will have 24-hour accountability and support the Director of Nursing (DON) in providing efficient and effective nursing care, aiming for positive clinical outcomes and high resident/family and employee satisfaction. This role acts as a clinical operational liaison between the households and the DON/Executive Director, facilitating the care delivery model, mentoring staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring patient and family satisfaction.

Requirements

• Completion of a Registered Nurse program in an accredited institution required.
• Must hold current license as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or Iowa (license must be held in the state of residence).
• Three (3) years of progressive experience as a Registered Nurse in a long term care and/or medical/surgical setting.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• Currently hold a Resident Assessment Coordinator–Certification (RAC-CT) is preferred.
