About The Position
Immanuel Communities is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to work at Deerfield, a facility with independent living, assisted living, residential care, and long-term care/skilled nursing suites. The ADON has 24-hour accountability and supports the Director of Nursing (DON) in delivering efficient and effective nursing care, aiming for positive clinical outcomes and high resident/family and employee satisfaction. This role serves as a clinical operational liaison between the households and the DON/Executive Director. Responsibilities include facilitating the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring patient and family satisfaction.
Requirements
- Completion of a Registered Nurse program in an accredited institution required.
- Must hold current license as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or Iowa (Nebraska and Iowa are Compact States so the license must be held in the state of residence).
- Three (3) years of progressive experience as a Registered Nurse in a long term care and/or medical/surgical setting.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- Currently hold a Resident Assessment Coordinator–Certification (RAC-CT) is preferred.
