About The Position

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports the Director of Nursing by planning, organizing, developing, and overseeing the Nursing Service Department’s daily functions. The role helps ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards to maintain high-quality care, as directed by the Executive Director, Medical Director, or Director of Health Services. The position is located at Glen Ridge Health Campus in Louisville, Kentucky.

Requirements

• Associate degree or advanced degree in Nursing.
• Current, valid state RN license, which must be maintained.
• Current, valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to help select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
• Help coordinate nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders to support continuity of residents’ total regimen of care.
• Help implement the clinical staffing model and perform administrative duties as needed, including completing medical forms, reports, audits, evaluations, and charting.
• Participate in implementing and maintaining the company’s Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
• Participate in and prepare for facility surveys and accreditation programs conducted by authorized regulatory agencies or the company.
