About The Position

Wesley Court Assisted Living Community is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) | LPN who is dedicated and compassionate to join their team. The ADON will be responsible for supporting and carrying out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician's orders and the total needs of the residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), the ADON will oversee 24-hour Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State, and Company standards, guidelines, and regulations. In the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | LPN assumes responsibility for clinical operations.

Requirements

Currently licensed as an LPN in the state in which you are practicing
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role

Responsibilities

Support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents.
Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) to be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).
