About The Position

Cura Health is seeking a committed Assistant Director of Nursing to support the Director of Nursing and help manage nursing services in its skilled nursing facility (SNF). The role focuses on maintaining excellent patient care, supporting nursing leadership and operations, and serving as a reliable clinical and leadership resource during on-call rotations. It requires clinical expertise, leadership ability, and the capacity to respond promptly to facility needs outside regular business hours when on call.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Previous nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment.
Familiarity with SNF regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead nursing teams.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize patient safety.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing SNF nursing operations to maintain high standards of care.
Understand infection control processes and procedures.
Provide on-call support for nursing staff issues, patient care concerns, and emergencies.
Support the Director of Nursing with staff supervision, training, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote effective care coordination.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Help manage staffing concerns, resources, and documentation accuracy.
Serve as a clinical and leadership resource for nursing staff during on-call periods.
