About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, our ADON is responsible for training, scheduling, and guiding the clinical team toward delivering exceptional care experiences. This role involves conducting initial assessments of prospective residents, performing wellness assessments, and developing individualized care plans. The ADON also delivers health promotion services, offers disease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residents. A key aspect of the role is engaging with residents and family members compassionately, fostering communication with physicians and healthcare providers, and contributing to quality assurance initiatives. Continuous learning and adherence to confidentiality regulations are also essential.

Requirements

  • Holds valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

  • Prior senior/supportive living experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessment of prospective residents

  • Contribute toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
  • Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
  • Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of team members and resident information
  • Perform any other duties as assigned or necessary
