Requirements

  • Registered Nurse in good standing in the state of operation, long-term care experience preferred.
  • 1 – 3 years experience as an LPN/RN.
  • 1 – 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • 1 year of experience in educating and/or training adult learners.
  • Must be knowledgeable of state and federal laws and regulations for skilled nursing facility operation in the State of operation.
  • Must be able to demonstrate competence in relevant technology.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Expertise in PPS, MDS, OBRA and OSHA requirements preferred.
  • Administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and energize a strong nursing team as a Neighborhood Manager—think of yourself as the team's biggest cheerleader and mentor
  • Champion resident assessments and jump on clinical interventions with confidence and care
  • Coach and develop your nursing team members through education, hands-on support, and genuine mentorship
  • Keep a close eye on quality indicators and care delivery, then take action to keep things running smoothly and safely
  • Spot safety concerns early and partner with the DON to keep infection control tight
  • Roll up your sleeves with admissions, staffing, hiring, and performance management—you'll be hands-on and involved
  • Coordinate educational programs that keep everyone sharp and compliant with regulations
  • Champion person-centered care initiatives, including the Eden Alternative philosophy, to create a vibrant community
  • Pitch in with other duties that support amazing resident care and community goals
