About The Position
A Skilled Nursing Facility in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support oversight of clinical operations and nursing staff. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role requiring prior ADON experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility. The ADON will partner directly with the Director of Nursing to maintain regulatory compliance, support staffing stability, and ensure high standards of resident care.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN license required (Compact ok)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility required
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and DOH survey processes
- Demonstrated experience supporting survey readiness and compliance
- Proven ability to manage nursing staff in a SNF environment
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Support daily oversight of nursing operations within the Skilled Nursing Facility
- Ensure compliance with CMS and Florida StateA DOH regulations
- Assist with survey preparation, regulatory inspections, and plans of correction
- Supervise unit managers, RN supervisors, and nursing staff
- Monitor documentation accuracy, care plans, and infection control standards
- Participate in QAPI initiatives and quality improvement efforts
- Assist with staffing oversight and clinical performance management
- Collaborate with the DON and Administrator on operational stability
