About The Position

Rock Creek Care Center is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support and strengthen our nursing leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to quality resident care in a facility known for its supportive and collaborative environment. The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations, provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to nursing staff, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies. The role also involves assisting with staffing, training, and performance evaluations, monitoring and supporting quality improvement initiatives, serving as a liaison between residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams, and stepping into the role of DON as needed.

Requirements

• Current LVN or RN license in the state of California (required)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
• Strong understanding of state and federal regulations
• Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Passion for resident-centered care and staff development

Responsibilities
