About The Position
Forest Hill Heights has an immediate need for an Assistant Director of Nursing. The Assistant Director of Nursing should be an LPN with strong managerial and administrative skills. The ADON working in conjunction with the Director of Nursing (DON) to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with all state, federal, and local guidelines/regulations to ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.
Requirements
- LPN license in Maryland, in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care.

Responsibilities
- Direct, oversee and evaluate all nursing personnel.
- Guide staffing procedures.
- Organize and coordinate admission, nursing, and patient care procedures.
- Develop and enforce policies aiming for legal compliance and high-quality standards.
- Resolve issues and deficiencies when needed.
- Manage record-keeping procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals to streamline operations.
- Report to Director of Nursing.
