About The Position
Whites Creek Wellness & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate, reliable Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to join its care team. In this role, you will support resident care and clinical staff in a team-driven long-term care environment. The position is full-time and located in Whites Creek, Tennessee.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Tennessee.
- At least 3 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related healthcare facility.
- Current CPR certification.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and long-term care regulations.
Responsibilities
- Communicate policies and procedures to clinical staff and monitor staff and practices.
- Participate in management team meetings concerning census, resident care plans, complaints, concerns, QAPI, and facility assessments.
- Evaluate the work performance of nursing personnel and apply discipline according to operational policies.
- Ensure resident incidents and concerns that qualify as reportable events are reported to the appropriate entity within state regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in verbal, written, and electronic communications.
