About The Position

White Oak of Newberry is seeking a motivated RN to fill our Assistant Director of Nursing position. The ADON helps to oversee the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility. This is a full time salaried position with a $7500 sign on bonus for the right candidate. This is an exciting time to be a partner of the White Oak of Newberry team! Our newly renovated building and beautiful new Memory Care Unit provide a pleasant working environment. We have a strong team of exceptional RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, as well as a team of corporate nursing consultants dedicated to ensuring your success. Our nurse managers excel in their roles and provide consistent and valuable support for the Director of Nursing. The ideal candidate is flexible, innovative, and exhibits strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with others

Nice To Haves

• Long term care and supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledgeable in the interpretation of Federal, State, and local regulations relating to long-term care facilities

Responsibilities

• Assists in coordinating and managing overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies
