About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) | RN who is dedicated and compassionate to join their team. The ADON will support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician's orders and the total needs of the residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), the ADON will be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State, and Company standards, guidelines, and regulations. In the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON), the Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | RN assumes the responsibility for clinical operations.
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a RN in the state in which you are practicing
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role
Responsibilities

- Partnering with the Director of Nursing (DON) to be responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
- Directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and The Company standards, guidelines, and regulations.
- Assuming responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON).
