As the Unit Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse), you will play an integral role in ensuring top-quality clinical operations that align with our strategic goals. Reporting directly to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), you'll lead a team dedicated to delivering compassionate care, driving compliance with regulations, and spearheading quality initiatives.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Nursing (Registered Nurse)
  • At least two years of experience in direct patient care, including leadership roles in long-term care.
  • Ventilator and trach experience
  • Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Must maintain licensure and have a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical service administration positions and provide essential support to nursing staff.
  • Plan and direct the nursing service department, ensuring compliance with industry standards and state regulations.
  • Maintain nursing policies, procedures, and reference materials to guide staff in daily operations.
  • Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for holistic care.
  • Provide oversight of an 80 bed unit.
  • Participate in surveys and inspections by regulatory agencies.
  • Help cultivate a culture of quality improvement within the facility.
  • Assure sufficient staffing levels in compliance with state guidelines.
  • Maintain a respectful and professional environment for residents, families, and staff.
  • Implement emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
