About The Position

Maris Grove Senior Living, a 5-star CMS-rated community, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing, RN to help lead our CCRC—a role ideal for a clinical leader who is passionate about person-centered care and developing strong, cohesive teams. In this role, you will work closely with our Director of Nursing to oversee our Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Memory Care neighborhoods. You’ll help shape high-quality resident care, support clinical staff development, and advance compliance and safety efforts. How you will make an impact Leading and mentoring a team of clinical staff members, ensuring Erickson’s Person-Centered Care approach, and creating an exceptional environment for our residents. Ensuring appropriate staff is provided based on resident acuity in each level of care. Monitoring infection control for staff and residents and developing appropriate policies for infection control monitoring and reporting. Monitoring clinical quality areas including wound care, infection control, falls risk reduction, pain management, weight loss, and dehydration. Participating in Wound Rounds, Operations Meetings, Utilization Review, and Performance Improvement/Risk Management/Safety (PI/RM/S) Committee. Reviewing clinical outcomes to ensure that we stay above the National, State, and Erickson benchmarking thresholds. Collaborating with DON to plan, develop and maintain the clinical operational budget for the nursing department. Partnering with DON and clinical leaders to ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.

Requirements

  • Current RN nursing license with no restrictions for the state in which they operate.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare leadership role (Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, etc.).
  • Must obtain Infection Prevention Certification within 90 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in wound care, quality improvement, MDS, falls, hydration, infection control, care planning, etc.… a plus.
  • Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) system is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aide training preferred.
