About The Position

Concordia at Bethlen is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our Concordia at Bethlen Skilled Nursing facility located in Ligonier, PA. This Registered Nurse leadership role serves as an ambassador of quality care to our residents by assisting with hiring, training, scheduling, and mentoring high quality staff members and developing solutions when processes fail. This Registered Nurse management role will focus on care delivery, customer service and staff relations. Assistant Director of Nursing is a full-time position with a competitive starting rate!

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in nursing, preferably short-term rehab and long-term care
• Demonstration of leadership ability and relationship building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively to accomplish goals
• Familiarity with Federal and State Skilled Nursing regulations
• Dedicated to providing high quality care
• Caring and compassionate

Responsibilities

• Management of nursing staff and related issues
• Ensuring state and federal skilled nursing regulations are met
• Assisting with nursing policy & procedure implementation and education
• Leading projects to enhance resident/patient care and services
• Monitoring Quality Improvement and Quality Metrics
• Infection control Prevention Specialist – we can provide training!
• Assuming the role of Director of Nursing (DON) in their absence
• May include support and occasional coverage of nursing shifts
