About The Position

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering. This role supports the engineering department, working closely with the Director of Engineering to ensure the highest level of engineering operations for the safety and comfort of guests and employees. Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience in a luxury, hospitality environment
  • Prior experience working with blueprints, wiring diagrams and HVAC systems
  • Experience with hiring and onboarding positions, including hourly and management levels
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Stable communication skills, sense of humility and ability to build effective long-term relationships
  • Possess a collaborative approach
  • Strong engineering background knowledge, with a passion to create and innovate
  • Ability to maintain communication and drive service levels through vendor relationships (outsourced partners or third-party vendors)
  • A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions
  • High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in resorts
  • Legal work authorization for employment in the United States
