The Assistant Director of Donor Programs will work closely with the Director of Recognition & Donor Programs and other colleagues in UF Advancement to identify under-recognized donor segments and develop strategic programs aimed at enhancing their donor experience. This role involves a strong focus on program processes and reporting, ensuring donors are thanked appropriately and professionally. The position also assists with planning and executing events like Grateful Gator Day, tracking donor relations activities, developing impact reporting, managing donor programming calendars, and supporting stewardship initiatives. Collaboration with various teams, including the Office of Estate & Gift Planning, is essential for executing specialized communications and engagement opportunities. The role also involves evaluating tools and platforms to improve efficiency, providing consultation to development officers, and representing donor interests through process improvements. Additionally, the Assistant Director will manage centralized giving societies, develop programming to strengthen donor relationships, create collateral materials, and execute recognition events. They will also contribute to the strategy and stewardship of specific giving societies like the President’s Council and UF Loyal, maintain recognition databases, and support the permanent stewardship process by developing procedures, conducting research, and distributing donor communications.
