About The Position

The Assistant Director of Continuing Education (CE) is responsible for supporting the Director with development, operation, evaluation, and supervision of the continuing education (vocational, avocational, and customized corporate) program. These initiatives are conducted in response to community and student needs and reflect changes in the workforce and community demographics. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education or a related field.
  • Two (2) years current related work experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in grant application or management.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects.
  • Ability to communicate collaboratively and work effectively with individuals and leadership of various organizations.
  • Research techniques to gather, analyze, and summarize information for the development of successful workforce training projects.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, databases, and online research resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer software.
  • Criminal background check required.
