About The Position

Oklahoma State University Athletics is hiring for a full-time position that serves as the primary communications contact for women’s basketball and has oversight of student assistants working with selected Olympic sports. Operating within an established framework of core values and expectations, the successful candidate will consistently deliver championship-level performance in the areas that carry the greatest impact with target audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Media, Strategic Communications, Journalism or Public Relations (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date).
• Excellent written, social media, interpersonal, planning and organizational skills.
• High degree of creativity in developing impactful communications content.
• Ability to use both Apple and Windows-based computers.
• Fluency with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of how to maintain statistics for a variety of sports.
• Ability to keep detailed, accurate records.
• Ability to oversee a website for assigned sports.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree.
• Video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Three years prior experience in sports information at the Division I level.
