About The Position

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice.
• 5 years in healthcare industry preferred.
• 2 years of experience working in Leadership.
• A strong leader with impeccable organizational, strategic, analytical and project management skills.
• A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction to the hospice clinical team.
• Hiring of qualified hospice personnel.
• Provision of hospice services, directly, and the delegation to and coordination of hospice personnel evaluations.
• Establishing standards of care to comply with federal and state regulations and guidelines.
• Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
• Monitoring nursing staff performance and addressing any QA issues.
• Clinical policy and procedure support.
• Assisting the Director in identifying & resolving nursing department deficiencies.
• Monitoring implementation of correction plans.
