About The Position

The Assistant Director of Admissions is responsible for managing all incoming intake calls and ensuring timely, accurate resolution of inquiries. This role supports the Department Director with oversight and supervision of the admissions team, including staff guidance, training of new team members, and completion of assigned reports. The Assistant Director conducts initial clinical evaluations to determine appropriate levels of care and ensures all admission documentation and data entry are completed accurately and efficiently. This position requires strong independence, sound judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Success in this role requires effective collaboration with all hospital departments, including inpatient units, the business office, medical staff, medical records, utilization review, marketing, nursing, and data processing.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Health field.
  • 0 - 1 years of related experience.
