In Virginia Tech’s Division of Student Affairs, the Assistant Director for Testing Services will guide, nurture, and support students as they learn and grow. This role is part of the Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) team, a department focused on access and inclusion by determining reasonable accommodations for students in their living and learning environments. The Assistant Director will manage the operations of the SSD Testing Center, ensuring the seamless delivery of exam-related accommodations for students with disabilities. This involves collaborating with faculty and staff to ensure accessibility and compliance with disability laws, supervising testing staff, coordinating resources, and playing a crucial role in ensuring equitable access to academic assessments for students with disabilities. There are opportunities for growth and advancement within the Department and the Division.
