Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or applicable field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Seven years of related experience.
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in a health science related field.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others while also maintaining the ability to work independently on projects.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication plans aligned with the DHS strategic goals.
  • Write, edit, and distribute communications through internal and external channels.
  • Strategically manage and create content for the college’s website presence, ensuring consistency consistent with the university’s brand and messaging.
  • Share messaging and branding strategies that effectively communicate.
  • In collaboration with Central MarCom, develop and create marketing materials for the college, including print and digital assets.
  • Assist in event planning for the college, including logistics coordination and promotion.
  • Protects and promotes the university’s brand identity.
  • Leadership and project management for full-time employees, student workers and interns.
