About The Position

The Assistant Director, Educational Services at the Emory Autism Center (EAC) will oversee educational aspects of the Early Emory Child Development and Enrichment center. This role involves working with the Center director on various tasks including teacher hiring, training, and management, as well as curriculum development and implementation for educational activities and support to promote language, social, and adaptive behavior development. The position also includes supervising classroom environmental set-up and building-related matters, and interacting with families of children at the school to provide feedback and gather input. Additionally, the Assistant Director will collaborate with the Division administrator and finance staff to ensure timely billing and tuition collection, and ensure compliance with state, university, and practice policies and procedures, as well as national accreditation and state licensing of the school.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Three years' experience working in early childhood education.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Have reliable transportation.
  • Pass a background check.
