About The Position

CRJ is seeking an Assistant Director of Domestic Violence Programs to oversee the data compliance, reporting, and operational workflow functions of our Family Violence Education Program (FVEP), Explore, and Evolve programs. Working closely with the Director of Domestic Violence Programs, the Assistant Director plays a critical leadership role in ensuring contract compliance, monitoring program metrics, managing waitlists, overseeing audits, supporting staff, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of program data. This position directly supervises Domestic Violence Managers and serves as a key resource for quality assurance, reporting, billing oversight, and workflow management. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree with extensive program management expertise.
  • Experience working with domestic violence populations.
  • Experience facilitating groups and working with justice-involved individuals.
  • Strong understanding of the criminal justice system and court-referred programming.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, and compile program and contract data.
  • Experience managing multiple programs, priorities, and compliance requirements simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, databases, and reporting systems.
  • Ability to identify compliance issues and implement corrective action plans.
  • Availability during program and group hours to assist with staff issues and emergencies.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate operational demands and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead oversight of data compliance activities for the Family Violence Education Program (FVEP), Explore, and Evolve programs.
  • Monitor program performance metrics and ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and agency requirements.
  • Conduct audits and lead audit preparation activities across all program locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry, reporting, documentation, and tracking.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance measures to support program effectiveness and compliance.
  • Identify compliance concerns and proactively implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor Risk Reduction Indicators (RRIs) and report trends, concerns, and areas of noncompliance to the Director.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all applicable contracts, regulations, policies, and program requirements.
  • Generate and analyze reports for Quality Improvement Committees (QIC), leadership, funding sources, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor client flow and program utilization data to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Review operational metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support leadership with data-driven decision-making and program planning.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of databases and tracking systems.
  • Conduct weekly FVEP meetings to monitor referral activity, waitlists, participant flow, and program capacity.
  • Run and review waitlists regularly and partner with managers to address capacity concerns and improve client access.
  • Ensure referral sources receive timely communication and updates regarding program enrollment and participation.
  • Oversee workflow processes to ensure efficient movement of referrals through the program lifecycle.
  • Serve as a backup to the Director when needed and provide leadership support across Domestic Violence Programs.
  • Assist Managers and the Director with operational coverage and continuity of services.
  • Serve as an occasional backup facilitator when needed to support program operations.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train administrative and office staff.
  • Directly supervise Domestic Violence Managers.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to staff.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Partner with the Director on employee relations matters, corrective action, and performance management initiatives.
  • Facilitate training sessions for office staff and team members who utilize CDCS and related systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all program regulations, contractual obligations, state requirements, and agency standards.
  • Support contract monitoring efforts by maintaining accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Oversee billing processes and ensure timely and accurate invoicing activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between the accounting department and Domestic Violence Managers regarding billing, reporting, and contract-related matters.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and tracking as needed.
  • Attend referral source meetings and stakeholder meetings as needed.
  • Support and maintain relationships with courts, probation departments, parole officers, family relations personnel, CSSD representatives, and community partners.
  • Help ensure that referral partners receive responsive communication and high-quality customer service.
