The Assistant Director under the supervision of IDD Regional Director will be responsible to implement and oversee diverse community integration and support services for people with varying degrees of developmental disabilities and complex medical needs and co-occurring disorders. The Assistant Director will be leading a highly trained team of supervisory staff and direct support professionals of varying levels and partners with an interdisciplinary team which includes behavior clinicians, nurses, care managers, counselors, therapists and other staff members. The Assistant Director promotes expertise in providing a broad range of behavioral health care, crisis, community support, and coordination services designed to meet the needs of adults with both mental illness and developmental disabilities.
