The Assistant Director, under the supervision of the IDD Regional Director, is responsible for implementing and overseeing diverse community integration and support services for individuals with varying degrees of developmental disabilities, complex medical needs, and co-occurring disorders. This role involves leading a highly trained team of supervisory staff and direct support professionals, and partnering with an interdisciplinary team including behavior clinicians, nurses, care managers, counselors, therapists, and other staff members. The Assistant Director promotes expertise in providing a broad range of behavioral health care, crisis intervention, community support, and coordination services designed to meet the needs of adults with both mental illness and developmental disabilities.
