Schnucks has multiple assistant department manager opportunities available, including Assistant Department Managers (in training), Assistant Deli Manager, Assistant Seafood Manager, Center Store Lead, Assistant Bakery Manager, Assistant Produce Manager, Assistant Customer Service Manager, and Assistant Floral Manager. Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality
- Manage time and prioritize tasks
- Solve problems and make decisions
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and cases, following company safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensure department standards are met
- Stock, rotate, and straighten product
- Read and understand shelf tags and signage
- Follow all opening and closing procedures within the department
- Coach, develop, and inspire others to be their best through relationship building
