About The Position

Want to build your career in merchandising while helping Canadians discover the latest and greatest tech? Join us as an assistant demand planner and help execute our inventory strategy to ensure our products are available in-store and online for our customers! In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of retail experience
  • 1-3 years of retail buying, inventory management, or planning experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel – you love data!
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical thinking – have a “seek to understand” approach
  • Great team player

Responsibilities

  • Analyze our inventory and sales data and provide your analytical insights.
  • Partner with our vendors around the world and analyze vendor performance to make informed decisions with our buyers.
  • Review and adjust location replenishment parameters and allocate the right quantities to each store and online.
  • Track and report overstock inventory.
  • Create, monitor, and update outstanding purchase orders.
  • Support the execution of planograms to ensure our stores are set up to best serve our customers.
