About The Position

GoodLife Innovations is hiring a full-time Assistant Day Services Coordinator to help oversee Day Services operations and create engaging, meaningful experiences for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The role combines direct support, activity leadership, staff training and mentoring, and assistance with day-to-day program management. The coordinator works between the Day Center and community settings, alongside staff, to model effective support strategies, encourage skill development, and help ensure people served have opportunities to learn, grow, and thrive. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Physical ability to assist individuals with varying support needs.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Desire to lead and mentor a team of staff.
Passion for supporting adults with disabilities and helping others learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

Prior teaching, caregiving, or direct support experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to a caseload of individuals with IDD.
Lead activities such as arts and crafts, exercise, cooking, and community outings.
Model effective support strategies and coach staff in delivering high-quality Day Services.
Conduct new-hire training, substitute orientations, and ongoing staff training and development.
Keep activity spaces organized and stocked with supplies for daily programming.
Assist with administrative tasks and day-to-day program management.
Help maintain a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for persons served.
