About The Position

We are currently hiring an Assistant Supervisor to help oversee services for adults with developmental disabilities at our Tuckerton Adult Training Center and affiliated community-based program sites. This position supports the day-to-day operation of programming focused on vocational development, independent living skills, and individualized supports that encourage personal growth and community participation. Along with providing direct support to participants, the Assistant Supervisor will help coordinate staff activities, reinforce individualized program goals, maintain accurate service documentation, and assist in the delivery of employment-focused and skill-building opportunities. Successful candidates will bring strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities, along with the capacity to collaborate effectively with participants, families, community organizations, and external funding or oversight agencies. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Special Education, or a closely related field required
  • At least two years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities in a direct support, vocational, or program-focused environment
  • Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (5 points or fewer)
  • Demonstrated ability to assist with staff support, daily program coordination, and operational oversight
  • Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment requirements, including background screening and continued compliance with organizational drug testing policies
