About The Position

This is a temporary employment position for an Assistant Dance Line Coach. The role involves assisting the Head Coach by attending practices and basketball games, providing feedback to the team, and helping with or providing choreography. The position requires working closely with the Head Coach on scheduling, maintaining confidentiality, and performing other assigned duties. Approximately 50% of the role involves practice and game attendance, 25% choreography, and 25% working with the Head Coach on team-related ideas such as fundraising, community service, and costumes.

Requirements

• Dance experience.
• Work well with the traditional college-age student population.
• Ability to work non-traditional business hours including weekends & evenings.
• Bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of one year experience in a related field.
• A valid New York State driver's license is required that satisfies both University and insurance company underwriting rules and regulations for driving a motor vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching dance experience a plus.
• Knowledge of basic audio equipment for practices.

Responsibilities
