1st Shift Assistant Cutter

About The Position

Alleguard is seeking an Assistant Cutter, described in the job summary as a Machine Operator working directly under the Floor Supervisor. The position provides first-hand knowledge of EPS manufacturing processes. The operator works on hot-wire cutting lines, maintaining an efficient and consistent workflow while following company policies and safety procedures. The role may also involve palletizing and stretch-wrapping bundles, tracking block numbers, and moving between production lines as needed. The posted pay is $14 USD per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with flexibility required because hours may change based on the production schedule. The hiring process typically takes about one week.

Ability to perform duties in a high-temperature environment of 150–170 degrees Fahrenheit for short periods, typically less than five minutes.
Ability to tolerate periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.

Responsibilities

Operate hot-wire cutting lines with an efficient, consistent workflow while following company policies and safety procedures.
