The Department of Fire Services (DFS), Hazardous Materials Response Division is recruiting to fill one vacancy at the Stow location. The Assistant Coordinator will oversee the coordination of repair, inspection, and maintenance of approximately 22 Hazardous Materials Response vehicles throughout the Commonwealth. The Assistant Coordinator must be available to work a minimum of 1-2 shifts on average per week and be available to work in the event of an emergency. The primary focus of this position is to oversee the response truck needs of the five Hazardous Materials Response Districts throughout the Commonwealth. This is a part-time, contract position with no benefits. The Hazardous Materials Response Division, within the Department of Fire Services, provides emergency response to municipal departments as the departments deem fit. In order to be considered for this position, at time of application, a resume must be submitted as part of the application process and attached "as relevant" to the requisition, along with proof of the highest degree obtained above High School if applicable.
