Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a planning, geology, biology, hydrogeology, or environmental science
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, coordinating resources as well as the ability to solve problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, SharePoint)
  • A valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship experience working with engineering design teams and heavy civil construction teams is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the Site Fill Management System and ensure compliance with applicable best practices, regulations, Fill Management Plans (FMPs) and site-specific plans
  • Manage data collection, storage and analysis
  • Support daily Fill-Construction activities to ensure work is completed in compliance with all relevant client requirements as well as provincial and/or federal regulations
  • Assist with reporting any potential issues and recommendations for appropriate mitigation and corrective actions
  • Support project coordinators/managers to ensure projects are completed in accordance with an established scope of work
