About The Position

The Assistant Cook/Production & Utility employee works in the Food and Nutrition Department and performs duties assigned by the manager. The role assists with food production, serving, and cleanup, and may include cashiering during lunch. Regular, punctual, in-person attendance is an essential function. Employees may also be asked to perform other duties reasonably related to the position or assigned by the manager. Requirements

• Food service production experience or the ability to learn.
• Willingness to be trained in all areas of food production.
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, proper sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.
• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with Departmental Uniform and Personal Hygiene guidelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with scholars and staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.
