About The Position

Dara's is looking for an Assistant Convenience Store Manager in Training to join our growing team. This position is designed for motivated individuals who want to develop leadership skills, learn store operations, and prepare for a future Assistant Manager role. As an Assistant Manager in Training, you will work alongside experienced Store Managers and Assistant Managers while learning all aspects of convenience store operations, customer service, food service, inventory management, and team leadership.

Requirements

• Previous retail, customer service, food service, or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Desire to grow into a management position

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Assist with daily store operations
• Support food service and kitchen programs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store
• Stock merchandise and manage inventory
• Help train and motivate team members
• Assist with scheduling and staffing needs
• Monitor store performance and sales goals
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
• Step into leadership responsibilities when needed
