About The Position

Dara's Convenience Stores is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as an Assistant Convenience Store Manager in Training. This role is designed for those looking to advance their retail career by developing leadership skills, learning store operations, and preparing for a future Assistant Manager position. The trainee will work closely with experienced managers to gain knowledge in all facets of convenience store operations, including customer service, food service, inventory management, and team leadership.

Requirements

• Previous retail, customer service, food service, or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Desire to grow into a management position

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Assist with daily store operations
• Support food service and kitchen programs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store
• Stock merchandise and manage inventory
• Help train and motivate team members
• Assist with scheduling and staffing needs
• Monitor store performance and sales goals
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed
• Step into leadership responsibilities when needed
