About The Position

As an Assistant Controller at Reckitt, you will have the excellent opportunity to develop your career and find your best potentials. You will be responsible for managing financial reporting, monthly closing reviews, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgets, ensuring timely preparation, integrity, and accuracy of reporting along with thorough analysis of risk and opportunities. You will also manage finance results in Fusion/Anaplan/SAP, ensuring data completeness and accuracy, and discuss and finalize P&L with the plant controller in detail for forecasts and actuals. Enhancing existing finance processes to increase efficiency for consistency and standardization is also a key part of this role. Additionally, you will effectively communicate financial conditions and results to the Leadership Team, determine and provide financial metrics, trends, and benchmarks to facilitate effective management decision-making, and identify business unit critical margin improvement areas. You will proactively challenge the management team to ensure forecasts and plans are fully vetted and consider both short-term and longer-term impacts. Developing trusted relationships with management inside and outside the plant, regularly providing data mining and reporting, as well as ad-hoc analysis for business needs, is crucial. You will also drive Global Framework Finance Control testing for internal auditing, ensure proper business partners are connected and educated, gather sufficient samples, and complete audits on a timely basis, while developing and maintaining proper internal controls for compliance. Performing inventory valuation according to company policy and ensuring accuracy of inventory and variances from book to physical, and analyzing obsolete inventory to ensure appropriate direction and facilitation to reduce exposure are also key responsibilities. You will serve as a liaison to internal auditors.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in financial management preferred.
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of cost accounting and inventory accounting systems
  • Experience in supply chain environment with manufacturing is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and present data to plant management team and corporate supply chain teams.
  • Experience with integrated ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office, mainly Excel. Knowledge of SAP/blackline/Anaplan is a plus

Responsibilities
