About The Position

Valley View hospital is hiring for an Assistant Construction Manager to assist the Construction department in implementing and accomplishing departmental goals, processes, and objectives!

Requirements

College degree or equivalent experience preferred
At least 2 years’ experience in related project management or support preferred
Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Able to maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with team members
Exhibits creativity and innovation in solving problems; must be broadly focused and able to manage multiple efforts concurrently

Responsibilities

Functions as Owners’ Representative in all construction projects.
Assists the Construction department in implementing and accomplishing departmental goals, processes, and objectives.
Supports project management responsibilities for VVH construction projects and manages projects as assigned by the Project Manager.
Supports the relationships at all levels of construction to minimize impact on the hospital’s function of providing services 24/7/365.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Coordinates construction activities across multiple divisions.
Exhibits professional behavior, respect, and etiquette when collaborating with hospital and/or community leadership as appropriate.
Participates in the exchange of ideas, information, and opinions to arrive at decisions and solutions.
