Veev has developed a vertically integrated approach that involves multidisciplinary collaboration across real estate, design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction. The Role The Assistant Construction Manager role is responsible for supporting residential construction projects across a defined geographic area and focuses on coordination and record-keeping. This role assists in ensuring that Veev homes are built on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, local codes, and safety regulations. The position requires regular onsite presence typically weekly or biweekly at multiple, scattered homesites.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Willingness and ability to travel locally and be onsite at scattered homesites
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
Intermediate knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, and document management.
Some technical repairs and use of tools may be required by this role
Computer literate with proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft products (Word and Excel).
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and inspections preferred

Responsibilities

Assisting Construction Managers with home construction management
Ensuring quality construction and manage punchlists to ensure trade partners deliver a quality product for Veev’s customers
Provide exceptional customer experience
Enforce Veev safety policies and procedures
Maintaining schedules using company issued devices and software tools
Promote daily urgency on construction process completion, communicate delays and non performance immediately and strive to meet timelines
Managing documentation and inspections
Coordinate with Customer Care regarding quality and walk-through preparation of homes for move-in.
