Assistant Compliance Officer positions perform contract compliance and equal opportunity contracting duties, interacting with City vendors, assisting in bid evaluations, reviewing workforce reports, and evaluating equal employment opportunity plans. They also assist with preparing and analyzing Mayoral and Council actions, conducting outreach and training on equal opportunity contracting requirements and the Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE) Program, and assisting with presentations at pre-bid and pre-construction meetings. Alternatively, positions assigned to the Office of the City Attorney perform wage and labor compliance duties, including wage and contract compliance analysis, analyzing certified payroll, performing project labor agreement compliance, conducting research, providing outreach and training on wage compliance and the City’s project labor agreement compliance program, assisting with reporting to the Citizens Equal Opportunity Commission (CEOC), and assisting with data gathering for reports to Council. These roles also assist with presentations and trainings to various community groups, organizations, and stakeholder groups.
