2026-2027 Assistant Archery Coach

About The Position
Assist the Head Coach in coaching and supervising the sport involved. Enforce disciplined and sportsmanlike behavior at all times, fill in for the Head Coach when required, and perform other duties as assigned. This is a classified, non-exempt position on the Athletics/Extra Duties Salary Schedule. The position is evaluated annually by the Head Coach, Athletics Director, or Principal.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Successfully complete all training required by board policy, including training in the physical and emotional development of students, school discipline policies and procedures for addressing discipline problems, and safety and first aid training, including CPR/AED certification.
- Clear criminal records check.
- Follow all KHSAA and NFHS guidelines and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in all phases of coaching in the sport involved.
- Assist in supervising participants in the sport.
- Enforce disciplined and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
- Fill in for the Head Coach when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
